About Us

Tenancy WA is the specialist community legal centre for tenants, dedicated to protecting the right to housing for all tenants through advocacy, advice and education.  We are the central resource unit supporting Tenant Advocates across WA. Tenancy WA provides a Tenant Advice Line directly to the community and casework services to tenants including advocacy and representation in Magistrates Court. 

About the Role

Tenancy WA is seeking energetic, confident individuals who enjoy a challenge and are interested in making a significant difference to the lives of the people we work with.

This is an exciting opportunity to be a tenant advocate or solicitor working in a specialist community legal centre. Primarily working on the advice line there will also be an opportunity to work on law and policy reform research and draft submissions in relation to the review of the Residential Tenancies Act. Duties will be allocated based on skills experience and interest in these two areas of service delivery.

Roles are being offered on contract to 30 June 2020 with the potential for extension subject to funding. Both full time and part time applications with be considered.
